What it is: Doodlecast Pro is a whiteboard app that allows the user to create a voice-over slide show with annotations (notes). b. Why I like it. 1. I can adapt it to many standards. Especially if you want students to show their knowledge of a chart, diagram, or map. 2. It is a non-threatening way to give students a voice to their knowledge. 3. It is a way of providing information that many tech companies other professions use as a way of publishing information, c. How I used it: I had my students use this app for the first time as a presentation tool. Students uploaded a picture of song lyrics into the program, highlighted lines that exemplified types of figurative language we have been studying, and then explained song lyrics. Through this students were able to present information in a non-threatening environment. Thing Link This app allows you to embed content within an image or graphic.
